Notice on Degree Programs Application for International Students
Autumn Enrollment, 2022
一、报名时间：
2022年4月1日 - 6月30日。
Application Period: From April 1 to June 30, 2022.
二、报名方式：
网上报名:请登陆http://gdufs.17gz.org/注册报名。报名后必须与留院招生办电话或邮件确认。
How to apply:Online application. Applicants please submit online application through http://gdufs.17gz.org/and please get confirmation via phone call or email to theAdmission Office, Institute for International Education (IIE Admission Office).
三、申请条件：
1、不具有中国国籍，持有外国护照并符合《教外函〔2020〕12号》的相关要求。
2、身心健康，符合中国政府规定的、达到办理来华学习签证或居留证件的体检标准。
3、对华友好，遵守中国法律法规及校纪校规，勤奋好学，成绩优秀，品行端正；无违反校规校纪行为的记录，无治安处罚，无犯罪记录。
4、学历及语言水平达到所申请专业的要求。
5、如有申请奖学金需求，申请攻读硕士学位者，年龄一般不超过30周岁；申请攻读硕士学位者，年龄一般不超过35周岁；申请攻读博士学位者，年龄一般不超过40周岁。
6、遵守其他相关法律法规要求的事项。
Eligibility:
To be eligible, an applicant must:
(1) Be non-Chinese nationality, hold a foreign passport and meet the relevant requirements of the Regulation No.〔2020〕12 by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
(2) Stay in good health both mentally and physically, and meet the physical examination standards for the study visa or residence permit in China required by the Chinese government.
(3) Abide by Chinese laws and regulations and the University rules and regulations; be diligent and well-performed in academics and good conduct; no violation of the University rules and disciplines, no public security punishment, no criminal record.
(4) meet the applied major requirements both in education degree and language proficiency.
(5) under the age of 30 for the undergraduate programs, under the age of 35 for the postgraduate programs and under the age of 40 for the doctoral programs in terms of scholarship application.
(6) Abide by requirements of other relevant laws and regulations.
四、授课形式：
2022秋季学期仍为线上授课。是否恢复线下授课，视全球新冠病毒疫情形势以及我国的疫情防控安排、学习签证政策而定。
Teaching Method:During the autumn semester of 2022, online teachingwill still be conducted.Whether offline teaching will be resumed depends on the global COVID-19epidemic situation as well as China's epidemic prevention and control arrangements and study visa policies.

网上报名所需材料：
1、高中毕业证书及高中毕业成绩单扫描件（非中文或英文的，须提供经公证的中文或英文文本）。2、中文授课的专业须提供新HSK（汉语水平考试）5级180分或以上证书扫描件，以及：
（1）必要时须参加入学考试；
（2）报读汉语言专业本科一年级无需提供HSK证书，报名汉语言本科二年级须提供HSK4级180分或以上证书；
（3）报读全英教学专业者，无需提供HSK证书，但须有托福70分或雅思5.5分以上，或通过由留学生院组织的入学考试及面试。
*（4）因疫情暂未参加HSK考试的申请人可在网报前联系招生办了解入学政策。
3、护照首页及*来华签证页（如有）扫描件、一寸免冠证件彩照。
4、大学另有通知需补充的材料。
Documents required for online application:
1. High school certificate and transcript, the notarized Chinese or English version must be provided if the originals are in other languages.
2. Photocopy of new HSK level 5 certificate with score of 180 points or above levelfor those who applying for Chinese-taught programs, and in additional：
(1) An entrance exam would be arranged when the Institute deems necessary;
(2) Photocopy of new HSK level 4 with the score of 180 points or above is required for those who applying for Chinese B.A program starting from the 2nd year, while those who applying for Chinese B.A program from the 1st year, the HSK certificate is not needed;
(3) TOEFL 70 or IELTS 5.5 aboveis requiredfor applicants applying for English-taught program from non-English-speaking countries, or pass the entering exam and interview organized by the IIE.
*(4) Applicants who have not yet taken the HSK exam due to the COVID-19 epidemic may contact with the IIE Admission Officefor the latest admission policy before processing online application.
3. Photocopy of passport main page and Chinese visa page (*if any), and a 1-inchdigital bareheaded colorized photo.
4. Necessary materials informed by the University additionally.

2. Photocopy of new HSK level 5 certificate with score of 180 points or above levelfor those who applying for Chinese-taught programs, and in additional：
(1) An entrance exam would be arranged when necessary;
(2) New HSK level 5 certificate with the score of 210 points or above level is required for those who apply for Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language (MTCSOL);
(3) Applicants who apply for the English- taught MBA program, a photocopy of certificateof GMATcertificateor GREas English proficiency proof is required; Interview will be arranged when necessary.
3. Copies of two recommendation letters from your referees. The title of your referees should be associate professor or above.
4. Photocopy of passport main page and Chinese visa page *(if have), and a 1-inch digital bareheaded colorized photo.
5. Necessary materials informed by the University.

六、奖学金：
Scholarship:
*申请人请务必在完成网上报名并收到留学生教育学院招生办的确认信息后再申请奖学金，否则申请无效。可申请的奖学金有：
*Applicants must complete the online application and receive the confirmation from the IIE Admission before applying for the scholarship, otherwise the application will be deemed invalid. Scholarships available are:
1、广东省政府奖学金：
每年可申请，一旦被授予，本科生可获一次性资助10000元，硕士20000元，博士30000元，奖学金将于每年12月底发放到学生本人的个人银行账户。详见官网介绍：https://iie.gdufs.edu.cn/jxj/gdszflylxsjxj.htm
Guangdong Government Outstanding Foreign Student Scholarship:
Application is available every year. Once granted, undergraduateswill receive a one-time subsidy of RMB 10,000, postgraduate RMB 20,000 and doctorate RMB 30,000. Subsidy will be transferred to the student's personal bank account at the end of December each yea. 2、广外奖学金生：

GDUFS (The University) Scholarship:

七、录取：
Admission：
录取结果预计于2022年7月下旬至8月初间陆续发放，网上报名系统中所显示的录取结果仅代表大学初审意见或拟录取意愿，最终结果以学校官方邮件通知为准。
The admission results are expected to be released from late July to early August, 2022. The admission results displayed in the online application system only represent the university's preliminary review or intention of admission, and the final result will be subject to the official email notification of the University.
